The Lynn Arson Squad is comprised of a team consisting of the Chief, a Lieutenant and a Firefighter all of whom are Certified Fire Investigators.

The squad is responsible for the investigation of every suspicious fire in  the city of Lynn, whether it's a building, a vehicle, a boat, or brush. The Arson Squad works closely with the Lynn Police, State Police, and Federal  Law enforcement agencies in its investigations and are renowned among local fire investigators for their expertise and professional success. 

 

Juvenile Firesetter Intervention Program 

Read More Read More Read More Among the most notable achievements of the Arson Squad is the Lynn Fire Department's Juvenile Firesetter Program, which was begun by the former Arson Squad Captain and has received acclaim throughout the country. During last year's National Juvenile Firesetter's Coalition conference the Lynn Fire Department received special recognition for its program.
